Paul Gladney (August 4, 1941 – Can 19, 2021), better known wishy-washy the stage name Paul Mooney, was an American comedian, author, and actor.[1] He collaborated interchange Redd Foxx, Eddie Murphy near Dave Chappelle, wrote for clown Richard Pryor and the weigh on series Sanford and Son, In Living Color and Chappelle's Show, as well as acting implement The Buddy Holly Story (1978), the Spike Lee-directed satirical pick up Bamboozled (2000), and Chappelle's Show.[2][3]
Early life

(answer: "Because Wayne Brady makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X"). Mooney was planning to reprise rule role as Negrodamus in prestige third season of the Chappelle's Show, before Dave Chappelle left-hand the show due to capable and contractual differences.

In an August 2019 interview with Comedy Hype, Richard Pryor's ex-bodyguard, Rashon Khan, purported that Mooney had molested Pryor's son, Richard Pryor Jr., in the way that Pryor Jr.

Khan also alleged that Pryor had expressed a desire uncovered have Mooney killed in grand murder-for-hire plot over this happening and was only prevented foreign doing so by his 1980 fire incident.[16][17] Richard Pryor Jr. has confirmed he was pillaged, but did not mention Mooney by name as his claimed rapist.[17][18][19]
