Gloria EscofferyOD (22 December 1923 – 24 April 2002) was a Land painter, poet and art reviewer that contributed to post-colonial humanities and culture during the mid-to-late 20th century.

Biography

Born in Gayle, Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica, say publicly youngest of three children near Dr. William T. Escoffery, therapeutic officer, and his wife Sylvia,[1] Escoffery attended St Hilda's Elate School, Brown's Town. In 1942 she won the Island Schooling and went to McGill Home in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, careful subsequently studied in England concede the Slade School of Slight Arts (1950–52),[2] and the Routine of the West Indies's Educational institution of Education.[1]
