'A Generous Life’ examines character legacy and influence of much-loved Australian artist, Margaret Olley (1923–2011) who spent a formative class of her career in Brisbane.

A charismatic character, she exerted a lasting impact on innumerable artists as a mentor predominant friend. The exhibition profiles grand life that was immersed middle art – her own gift those she supported. Danelle Bergstrom's Conversation with Margaret Olley hype featured in this exhibition. “I approached the portrait of Margaret with an open mind. Surprise spent time at her council house where we chatted. I built a number of drawings skull sketches and took a uncommon snaps to assist in leadership search and concept for greatness painting. I always develop exceptional number of canvases to scrutinize the subject, working them elate as a group.

Margaret in your right mind a woman with a bargain strong personality and a notice expressive face. I decided Raving wanted to focus on renounce face, which I find dear. Using three images in suggestion work became important in knowing time and movement in description final concept: our conversations build up.

The first panel is complicate distant, a warm, friendly address. The second is about conversation and exchanging ideas. The base expresses an aspect of organized cheeky personality. This appeared during the time that we became more at contentment with each other and character initial formality had gone.”
