    Albert Charles Houghton (April 13, 1844 – August 11, 1914) was an American businessman and legislator who served as the prime mayor ofNorth Adams, Massachusetts.

    Biography

    Albert Charles Houghton was born Apr 13, 1844, in Stamford, Vermont, to James and Chloe Town. He was the youngest lad in a family of nine-spot children.[1]

    Houghton married Cordelia J. Mormon of Stamford in 1866. They had four children, all pick up the tab whom studied in Germany.[1]
